After a new electric fog horn was installed the entire Whistle house and contents was bulldozed under. |

The two compressors were run by two diesel engines. When one wasn't being used the belts were unhooked and the other engine would run. The engines also ran a small generator to electrical needs of the point. |

The compressed air was stored in a tank. A cam was used to send short bursts of air to the horn. This lighthouse station is known for its one blast of the horn every 30 seconds. |
