Page 5 The Board of Directors The Board of Directors are all dedicated volenteers. All are committeed to keeping the Lighthouse site open to the public and at no charge
Page 6 The Harbour Porpoise This is a story of how science was used to save thousands of Porpoises lives each years.
Page 7 Fundy Region Fossils The Fundy Region is well know for it's unique geological formations. Many types of fossils have been found in the area.
Page 8 The Natives peoples: The Passamaquoddy Tribe The Native Peoples of the area were the Passamaquoddy Tribe.
Page 9 The Touch Table The kids and adults alike enjoy our touch table. This has many item you might find of a beach walk.
Page 10 Ship Wreck Finds This area used to be booming with many sailing ships. Unfortunitely some wrecked on our shores and outer islands. Many hundreds of ships have gone down in the area.
Page 11 A multi-purpose engine. The workhorse of a by-gone era. The Pump Fog Horn was used by fishermen on the grand banks. Small boats would each have one. A Man was employed to pump the horn so the mother ship could keep track of all the smaller ships.
Page 12 The Weir Fisheries Weir fishing is a long-standing tradition in the area, also often a profitable undertaking.
Page 13 Salmon Farming Salmon farming is realively new to the area but has become one of the area's largest employers
Page 14 The Lobster Fisheries The Lobster Fisheries is thriving. Local Loster is world famous.
Page 15 The Whisle House Before electricity came to the point, the whisle house was the foghorn and provide some electicity for the site.
Page 16 Our impact on the Environment Environment concerns have become very popular. Everyone can help. The first step is education.
Page 17 The Whales of the Bay of Fundy More Whales more often than anywhere else. In August you might get to see some whales from Green's Point.
Page 18 The Cottage The cottage rentals help pay for the upkeep of the lighthouse.
Page 19 L'Etete and Area L'tetete is a beautiful area of Chalotte County. It's where you catch the ferry to Deer Island.
Page 20 Souvenirs Our Souvenirs aren't priced to make a lot of revenue but are considered a courtesy to our guests .
Page 21 Our Local Eagle Ernest the Eagle has been part of our community here for many years. He seems to enjoy our company as long as we don't make quick movements.
