Our Local Eagle

Many mornings our friend, Ernest the Eagle, sits in one of our Spruce trees.

Ernest isn't afraid of poeple a long as they don't make any sudden movements to startle him.

A close up of Ernest

We think Ernest is interested in the local Salmon cages. Sometimes he sits out front watching the ducks.

Although hidden, the lighthouse is behind our front spruce tree; another favourite place for our eagle to sit.

On this day, Ernest sat for over an hour preening himself just a few feet from our front deck.
